What is paint correction?

Paint correction is the controlled removal of surface imperfections using a sequence of abrasives and polishing compounds to recover depth, clarity and colour integrity. Choiceuniverse performs paint correction using industry-grade polishers, pads and measured stages to minimize clearcoat removal while maximizing finish.

  • Multi-stage compounding and finishing
  • Swirl and micro-scratch elimination
  • Haze, oxidation and water-spot remediation
  • Paint thickness monitoring and conservative approach

We recommend pairing with ceramic coating for long-lasting protection after correction.

FAQ

When performed correctly we remove minimal clearcoat only as needed. We measure paint thickness and choose the least aggressive method to achieve results.

Correction itself is permanent (scratches removed won't return), but new environmental damage can occur. Pairing with ceramic coating greatly extends protection and ease of maintenance.
